SPANISH IMMERSION COSTA RICA

Rainforest and Reef now offers Outstanding-Affordable Spanish Language/Culturally oriented travel to Costa Rica for groups as well as Semester Abroad Experiences for individual University Students and Adults. We have partnered with The Institute for Central American Development Studies (ICADS), which was created in 1986 to fill the information gap in foreign policy between North American citizens and their governments, promoting a deeper understanding of Central America.

Through ICADS, we offer a center for study, research and analysis of Central American social and environmental issues. Our major focus is on women's issues, economic development, environmental studies, public health, education, human rights and wildlife conservation.

Short-course programs for University and High School groups interested in Spanish, Central American Culture and History are also available upon request. Each itinerary is fully customized to meet the interests and needs of your group.

Through ICADS, we offer four separate and distinct Study Abroad programs through which students can earn academic credit as a Study Abroad program from their university, take intensive Spanish language coursework and/or volunteer in any number of internships we have available in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
